Teachers seeking employment in a Catholic elementary or secondary school in the Diocese for the 2025-2026 school year can learn about available positions during two upcoming job fairs.
The events are scheduled for April 8 in St. John Vianney High School, 540-A Line Rd., Holmdel, and May 8 in Notre Dame High School, 601 Lawrence Rd., Lawrenceville. Both fairs will run from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
The fairs will provide an opportunity for employment seekers to speak with representatives from the Diocese’s 30 schools about openings for teachers at all grade levels – pre-K, elementary, middle school, high school, and more as well as various coaching positions and other topics of interest. Visit https://dioceseoftrenton.org/school-job-fairs for more information.
A federal school choice bill has been introduced on Capitol Hill with genuine prospects for success. The Educational Choice for Children Act (ECCA) is based on tax credit scholarship programs that have had success in many states. Under the bill, private or corporate donors would receive a tax credit for contributions made to a scholarship granting organization, which would then use those donated funds to give scholarships to low- and middle-income families for private school tuition. Congressional leadership is supportive of this legislation, and President Trump said he would support the bill. Please contact your United States Senators and your member of the House of Representatives and ask that they support the ECCA and also that they sign on as co-sponsors of the bill. The holiday season is a time of warmth, a time of gratitude, and a time of giving. As we near the end of the year, we reflect on what we've achieved together. Your support has made it possible to create an environment that allows these dreams to flourish. As we continue to work together during the Advent season of Hope and in the coming Jubilee year of Hope, I hope you consider offering your support to Saint Jerome School.
